"Kuro jan tsavet danem": want to be a perfect sister? Wear and share this classic phrase from Armenia.
The phrase literally means “dear sister, let me take your pain”, and is a common term of endearment increasingly adopted by Diasporan Armenians. To portray this, the writing is in the Western Armenian dialect used widely in the Diaspora instead of in its native Eastern Armenian dialect. Unfortunately (or not), this popular high-heeled and colourful women’s boot style is disappearing from contemporary Armenia... so this design is dedicated to our ‘kuros’.
